Austin began flight training in 2014 at TSTC in Waco because he couldn’t think of any job that could be better than flying planes. As he trained he became more interested in the general aviation side of flying and Georgetown was the perfect place for it. He began teaching at Pilot’s Choice in 2018 and has loved every hour of it.

BY JOHN GILLESPIE MAGEE JR.
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds,—and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of—wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there,
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air...
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark nor ever eagle flew—
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
Stephanie grew up in the north Austin area and lives in Georgetown. She started flying “just for fun” as a student at Pilot’s Choice in 2020 after 10 years as a band director. Now, she can’t imagine doing anything else. She loves sharing the joy of flight with students and helping them work towards their goals.

Becca Torres has been with Pilot's Choice Aviation since the Fall of September 2017. She works as office manager and handles our Liberty University reporting. You'll likely see her at the front desk, although Becca isn't an aviator she's been heard to say, she pilots the front desk. She enjoys seeing students walk in the door with a dream and being able to leave Pilot's Choice Aviation with ratings in hand.
Craig Miracle has been with Pilot’s Choice Aviation since Nov. 2021. He is our full-time A&P Mechanic. Craig helps keep our 16 aircraft flying as well as the instructors and students fully caffeinated with his own coffee company, Cloud Kicker Coffee which is served at Pilot’s choice daily. You can find Craig upside down in an aircraft or covered in oil on the hangar floor.

During the night, Wildcat is the Security Guard protecting the aircraft in the hangar. During the day time hours (between naps) she is Quality Control for our mechanics. Wildcat was transported to Georgetown from a warehouse in Iowa and had a short period of time playing mother to 4 adorable kittens. She is now back on the job whole heartily. However, check before you yell "clear" she might just be under the airplane making sure it is ready to fly!
